The Sapphire Log and Timber Package - $57,443
(FOB Hamilton, Montana)

Specifications:

  • Exterior Wall System:  6x10 Flat extrior wall logs milled from forest-fire-killed, naturally-seasoned whitewood logs.  Rustic, rough-sawn finish with naturally-shaped round top and bottom edges.  Dovetail cut corner notch system.  Eleven courses, approximately eleven-feet high.  Spacers, pins and spikes to secure log wall system.
  • Exterior Siding: Random width 6"-10" wide, 1" thick rough sawn vertical siding for the exterior of the upper level walls, gables, mudroom and dormers.
  • Beam System: Forest-fire-killed, naturally-seasoned, rough-sawn Douglas fir.  Rustic 6x8 timbers for second floor exposed beam system.  Rough-sawn beams and posts for front porch roof,  2x8 rough-sawn rafters per the plan for porch, dormers and mudroom as shown.  Rough-sawn exterior gable trusses, braces, brackets and beams.  Massive 8x10 roof purlins in second floor ceiling.
  • Timber Staircase: Rough-sawn Douglas fir heavy timber treads and stringers for stairs to second floor.
  • Chinking System:  An ample amount of chinking and backer rod to seal the interior and exterior of dovetail log wall system.
  • Design:  Complete plans for the construction of the home, including foundation design, floor plans, elevations, cross sections, roof and floor framing plans, window and door schedules.  Structural engineering, if required, is available at an additional cost.  Custom modification to the plans and materials package quoted on an individual basis.
  • Options Available:  Various log and siding styles, windows, custom exterior and interior doors, 2x6 tongue and groove decking for application over the Rocky Mountain Log Homes beam systems, rough-sawn porch ceiling boards, complete dimensional framing packages, interior and exterior railings, custom design.
